Just Practice Workshops

Program description

Just Practice is a series of workshops to engage designers in active discussion of how present design practice can uphold or challenge systemic racism, sexism and settler colonialism.

Just Practice consists of three workshops held sequentially. The workshop package includes pre- and post-assessments, collaborative activities, discussion and slides, and a printable packet including a worksheet, glossary of terms, and resource guide. Each workshop can be facilitated remotely over Zoom or another virtual platform, or held in-person in accordance with physical distancing guidelines.

Each workshop is adapted to address the location of the host organization, and to include areas of interest identified in the pre-workshop organizational assessment.
